Jan Janhsen studied Mechanical Engineering in Aachen and started working at Fraunhofer IPA in 2015. His work topics include the development of control software and automation systems for inkjet-based 3D-printing machines and test rigs. His focus is on photopolymer-based additive manufacturing (AM) processes and hybrid process combinations for AM-based manufacturing technologies. Since the beginning of 2020, he is group manager of the division “Photopolymer-based AM Processes” in the department of additive manufacturing at the Fraunhofer IPA.
