Wim Deferme obtained a degree in Applied Physics at the TU/Eindhoven in 2003. He obtained a PhD in Materials Physics at Hasselt University in 2009 and since then started research in the field of Printed Electronics and since February 2014 he is Professor at Hasselt University heading a group of 8 researchers in the field of “Functional Materials Engineering”.
