Wolf-Dieter Wagner obtained his PhD in Physics at the Ludwig Maximilians University Munich in 1986. He continued his research at the Chemistry Department of the Marquette University in Milwaukee, USA. Since 1990 he is co-founder and CEO of Soliton Laser und Messtechnik GmbH.
