After her studies of Application Technology for Printing and Packaging at University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Petra Burger started as a Scientific Assistant for UV and EB curing processes. From university she directly changed into the UV curing industry, where she worked with microwave powered UV lamps. Since 13 years Burger has been an application engineer at UV specialist Dr. Hönle AG. Here she is responsible for the process development of medium-pressure UV lamps and UV-LEDs for all kinds of UV curing applications.
